Our Christmas Day tradition is to make waffles for all the highway patrolmen who are out there working, with no place to go for breakfast. Nine came this year. They were here before 7am, becuase it was so cold outside. They all stood around the fire for the first 20 minutes. Then they got their waffles, bacon, sausages, coffee and OJ, plus a friendly place to be. When they all left, Larry had finally his breakfast.We usually don't eat like that, but what the heck, it is Christmas day.
