Ranger Station in Clover Meadow. No wonder they don't rent bear cans here - the whole station could fit into one! We drove some 50 miles from Oakhurst to pick up the permit (as the reservation told us to do). The ranger was very surprised why we drove all the way there since we could have picked it in Oakhurst (the reservation did not say that). Oh well, at least we got to drive past Globe Rock...
Sem jsme se kodrcaly 75 km po lesních cestách v oblacích prachu, aby nám bělovlasá starší ranger dáma sdělila, že jsme si mohy povolení vyzvednout ve městě. A ne, nechápe, proč nám napsali, že musíme až za ní na její ztracenou vartu.
