Leaving Sunrise Lake to Clouds Rest I noticed that my hiking shoe, just a month old, is falling apart. The tape that Paige gave me for my blisters worked miracles - it kept the sole attached to the rest of my shoe all the way to the Clouds rest and back home!
Večer před výstupen na Clouds Rest jsem přišla na to, že se mi rozpadá měsíc stará bota. Obávala jsem se, že mi upadne podrážka, tak jsem vytáhla pásku na puchýře a dala se na ševce. Zjevně mám talent - bota to vydržela celou cestu až domů.
