Původní vesnice je pod nánosem lávy. Když sopka přestala soptit, přišla vláda a naplánovala novou vesnici, jen ji na ten plán moc lidí nepřistoupilo.

The old village is under a relatively recent lava flow. When the volcano stopped, the govermnent came in and planned and a new and better village. The problem is that nobody asked the people, and they just didn§t want to live where the government told them to. Many years later it is still a ghost town here.
