I started our layover day by watching sunset over Ediza Lake. Then David caught some fish and we all had protein for breakfast. To burn it off, we hiked up to Nydivers Lakes and explored around there. We could almost touch Mt. Ritter and Banner Peak there! The lower lake was a perfect swimming spot. We returened to the camp, retooled for fishing (some of us), and hiked to Iceberg Lake. Now we could almost touch the Minarets! The lake had amelting icebergs floating on the water. Pretty amazing. No fish.
