"This was the trip of errors, that turned out succesfull after all. First the government was going to shut down Yosemite until 9 PM the day before the trip. Then Oakdale was closing the only road for a rodeo. Yes, Oakdale, "The world's rodeo capital" - not sure that they informed the world, but than again, the world just may not care. Then the Glacier Point road to Badger Pass was closed for season, leaving us scrambling. Fortunatelly an angel park employee in her pickup track offered us a ride up to Badger Pass. And then, fotunatelly, we were able to call Steve and let him aobut the closure adding 5 miles to the trip. And then there was no trail, and falling snow, but that was all part of the fun. Sun came back the next morning, and the trip back in fresh snow was great fun. And then, the lady in her pickup track was parked at Badger pass and nice enough to give us a ride back, too! Thank you!!!! And then, we even met up with Steve who decided to give up on Dewey Point and came on Sunday to tackle Devil's Dance Floor."
